how come BoxofficeMojo is getting lazier?

Recommended Posts

They no longer write any yearly preview (the last time they did was for 2013 I believe) and now they no longer seem to do previews of the upcoming months or an article summing up how the last month went overall. Why?

Forgot to mention how they no longer have box office for many countries now

The site hasn't been the same post the BOM shutdown scare in October. They also lost a lot of sources for foreign box office results and it seems like the site may have let go of employees or something (just guessing here). Ray Subers hasn't even been particularly active on Twitter either in recent months.

Box office Mojo glory days was around 2004-2007

After that blah.

The site got a lot of publicity from the box office run of Passion of The Chirst.

Which apart from Avatar and Titanic was one of the closely watched Box office runs by the media and public.
