chimpo
So that would be around 700-720k admissions after the weekend? Milion admissions should happen ( which is shocking to be honest ) Edited April 21, 2015 by chimpo

Pypa94
Almost 2 weeks till AOU and for now only IMAX showdowns have some spectators but not more of 30% saturation for best one. On 6.05 we're gonna have, someone would say 'exclusive', 5 IMAX maraton at 9:30 pm. All 5 screens have 2000 seats and for now saturation is about 11%. In Poland we have 3 biggest chains: Cinema City (28,8% share of seats), Multikino (21,4%) and Helios (16,4%) however number of theaters is opposite. I checked how many showtimes is set for opening day in big 3 and here we have: - Cinema City - 349 including 10 4D, 20 IMAX 3D Dub/Sub and 3 VIP - Multikino - 317 - Helios - 251 + now new theater is gonna open in 3 days so about few more is coming Of course it's almost 2 weeks before open but I think no more showtimes will be needed cause Thursday is normal working day and morning or around noon showtimes won't be packed. I checked also some of showtimes and pre-sales almost doesn't exist. Only couple of them (excluding IMAX) sold some tickets and mostly there are 2D sub played in the evening. chimpo
If anything sales will go up after Majówka. I don't understand why they are doing those presales anyway.

norbar
If anything sales will go up after Majówka. I don't understand why they are doing those presales anyway. It's either a Mistake and they think they have a movie of 50shades caliber or the brass in US told them to do so.
chimpo
Avengers is 200k, maybe 300k admissions opener. They hardly ever made presales for those. I think that last 8 months in Polish Box Office might have got distributors and cinemas a little bit crazy.

Pypa94
F7 is already 3th movie of the year only behind 50SoG and PoM (but 4th if include TH3 which sold more tickets in first 3 months of 2015 than F7 for now)

First 3 months are better than in last record breaking year! 2kk more tickets sold. 32 movies with 100k and more admissions including 6 with more than 500k, with 2 more than 1kk It was a very good start but to be honest I'm not surprised they are crazy. FFs even The boy next door opened decently in Poland and that was a movie I thought would not be released in Poland since it's a us minority movie. The only big dissapointment this year is Cindirella. It's better than OZ yet it will obviously do less. I've heard big cinema chain brass claiming it's a 800-1000k movie after exhibitors screenings. chimpo
This is a trend now. Sorry for the delay once again. I hope to get more time on Wednesday or Thursdays soon so I won't forget to post weekend numbers. I'll be skipping Easter Weekend because it was so bad that it would be shame to post those numbers. Weekend numbers (10-12 April 2015 ) Fast & Furious 7 390 519 / 390 519 Home 53 402 / 76 750 Cinderella 20 197 / 384 899 De toutes nos forces 13 778 / 13 887 Insurgent 8 665 / 174 209 The SpongeBob Movie:SOOW 7 229 / 433 602 Disco Polo 7 177 / 842 685 Selma 5 495 / 5 729 Body/Cialo 5 422 / 260 045 Yellowbird 5 249 / 214 771 Total admissions : 556 180 admissions Weekend numbers (17-19 April 2015 ) Fast & Furious 7 169 665 / 717 347 Home 65 746 / 168 600 Run All Night 21 742 / 21 742 The Pyramid 20 758 / 20 758 The Boy Next Door 18 204 / 18 204 Cinderella 17 886 / 412 410 De toutes nos forces 11 588 / 38 652 The SpongeBob Movie:SOOW 5 698 / 441 653 The DUFF 5 486 / 5 818 Yellowbird 5 454 / 223 647 Total admissions : 390 158 admissions Weekend numbers (24-26 April 2015 ) Fast & Furious 7 56 891 / 848 136 Home 32 243 / 234 966 Child 44 18 501 / 20 499 The Boy Next Door 9 700 / 40 261 Run All Night 9 653 / 43 247 Cinderella 8 122 / 434 192 De toutes nos forces 5 531 / 54 957 Fasandræberne 4 412 / 4 412 The Pyramid 4 051 / 29 226 The DUFF 3 604 / 14 637 Total admissions : 183 545 admissions ( now that is a normal April weekend ) Fast&Furious 7 is losing audience fast and furious ( ). It looks like it will join Twilight movies in the frontloaded section of Polish Box Office. Only Twilight movies opened this big and didn't reach 1 milion admissions. Home is doing well. Rest is doing whatever. Upcoming weekend has two holidays in it so it will do terrible like it always does

Charism
Nothing wrong in good grill party with friends (even if weather is...unstable, like now). Anyway - have you seen presales for Age Of Ultron? It's hilariously embarassing. xD A lot of screenings in entire country, around a week of presales, and every screening have zero to few tickets sold.
