Sorry to hear about the jerk ... there are also a few people in that thread that had already expressed their support for you so hopefully you will continue to post. Your English is more than fine. We really appreciate your posts and insights, which is what is most important.

Yeah, I don't care about grammer. (Because I am not good at it either, or at writing words...) But if it's not your native language it's logical that you can't do it perfectly. Because ask the persons who laughed at you to write in german it would be 1000000X times worst...

Go to edroger's Profile and read his last post

I see, it's just about grammar. Well, it's sad to insult people making an effort to participate in a foreign language, there are nicer ways to help someone improving his/her English language skills..

Good grief, this is a box office forum yet some people with a twisted superiority complex feel the need to correct grammer (and with a condescending attitude). What's the point? To look smarter or to make the other person look like a fool? Because neither is the case. Really childish and I'd say it's more telling about their lack of social skills more than anything. Take some time off the net and meet some people.

Out of the four main anime movie series thus far, I'm sure Pokemon will gross the lowest.  Every since the DP Golden Days, the movies have gone on a downward spiral in terms of gross.

Pokemon Hoopa movie: $25 - 30 million

Doraemon movie: $35 - 40 million

Yokai Watch movie: $50 - 55 million

Dragon Ball Z movie: $30 - 40 million

That's around a cumulative of $140 - 165 for the four main anime series in my opinion and that sum is quite a large one!  I'm sure each franchise will have no problem passing $10 million or $20 million.  Pokemon, unlike Yokai Watch has a larger older audience to work with and with the obvious appeal of the first trailer, I'm sure this will pass Diancie's gross.  Yokai Watch might have already peaked with its first movie and I'm predicting a mild drop from the first movie's cumulative gross.  Doraemon films are always high grossing films so it's without question that this film will gross a considerable amount of mullah.  Dragon Ball Z is gaining some buzz with Frieza returning but for some, the new character design and obvious (maybe) rehash of the Frieza arc might displease some fans but nonetheless will be a huge film.

2014 Book Market Results
# of Books Sold, % change / Revenue, % change, Book Type

500,482,000, +1.3% / ¥281.51 billion ($2.68 billion), +4.0%, Manga Volumes
497,617,000, -4.9% / ¥624.31 billion ($5.94 billion), -2.5%, Traditional Books/Novels
79,658,000, -7.1% / ¥122.31 billion ($1.16 billion), -4.0%, Trade Paperback (Bunko)
_________________________________________________________________
1,077,757,000, -2.7% / ¥1.028 trillion ($9.78 billion), -0.9%, Overall Book Market

The Overall 2014 Book Market was slightly down compared to 2013, but the Japanese still really, really like to read. It's like 5/6x the size of the box-office. Over 1 billion books sold is pretty staggering.

--¥25/30 million ($215-250,000), 0, ¥25/30 million ($215-250,000), Kano (Showgate) NEW

This is a really annoying weekend to predict. All the openers, except for Annie, are limited releases playing on fewer than 100 screens. The widest among them is Kano (third baseball film in 4 weeks) on only 62 screens, followed by Big Eyes on 60 screens. Everything else, and there's a lot more, is on 20/30 screens.

There are also various concert/band films or live-broadcasts going on that could also sneak into the bottom of the top 10. I think just the AKB48 live song request broadcast has a chance at making it though. It has very, very few showings on just 18 screens, but most seats are being filled. Ticket prices are likely absurdly high, too.

The only interesting things going on this weekend is really Yo-Kai Watch likely exceeding ¥7 billion, and Big Hero 6 possibly doing it, too. Psycho-Pass has also been holding nicely. It's only playing on 103 screens, and continues to do very well.
