Newborn. I open my eyes. I melt. Into the eternal night. A spark. You got me out of the darkness. You gathered me up from earth. You've brought me back to life.

Gangster Squad was in this weekend. It was bound to pull a 20M+ OW, IMO.

Gangster Squad would at least make this weekend interesting. Such a shame
I wouldn't be so sure. May not have been a very good movie to begin with.

I would like to have more IMAX rereleases but the screen numbers seem pretty limited and studios get to lock them up for a long time. I'm lucky because the nearest IMAX playing it is right across the bay bridge.
I'd love to see the whole trilogy in IMAX. I hope this will be a trend, not the fucking 3D re-releases.

There is no such thing as "better" in art. If more people like something that just means it's "better" for those people. It has no bearing whatsoever on your feeling about that art. You can be the only person on the entire planet to prefer a particular movie...but that movie is still "better" to you and that's the end of it. Other people can pull out numbers and point out to you that you are in the vast minority...but that means absolutely nothing to you when you watch the movie you love. You feel what you feel.

If it was a choice between one or the other, I'd prefer Argo, Dredd and Looper to be successful. But what I'd prefer even more is for all of them to be successful.
Um, why would anyone want Finding Nemo/Indiana Jones or any re-release to dominate September?More creativity death in Hollywood then...but we already have ID4 3D and JP 3D on schedule too.Argo, Dredd and Looper all have 100% on RT last time I checked and I'd rather they made the cash.
