    Does Talk to Me have a shot at making back it’s budget in Australia alone? I can only see limited info but it looks to be holding pretty well. Great to see an Australian film doing well!

    Still blown away by the numbers that Barbenheimer are pulling. Barbie’s OW could have been just above that 4th WE number and I would have been impressed. 4th weekend!? I know it gets a bit trickier the further we get along, but any idea where that stands in all-time 4th WEs?

    Completely agree, especially with your comparison to BP2. I’ve seen A2 twice - first in theatres, and most recently as an in-flight movie. Even on a tiny 8inch screen it still manages to be a grand spectacle that others won’t match. Cameron has a good thing going so let the man do his thing.

    So a ~35% drop for Barbie from an already insane 2nd week, and then about a ~30% drop for Oppy off of an equally impressive second week. We’re witnessing some pretty incredible stuff. On a side note though, how incredible is it that we’re going to have 3 x $90m+ grossers in the space of 15 months!?

    Utter insanity how well these two films are performing. Has there been a time before that two films have done this well at the same time?

    And to add to this, the final AUD 2nd WE figure is ~$17.5m, which would still be the 10th biggest OW of all-time!!!! I have no more words for this.
