I had it on the back-burner for adding in 2012 before Skyfall, but you swayed me. Personally, while Connery has the better films, I can't say he entertains me more than two others... 1. Craig 2. Does that make him a better bond? Even Fleming was impressed with him. Read Dr. No or From Russia With Love,or hell, even Moonraker, who's story is nothing like that of the movie, and it's impossible not to see Connery. Here's my hardcover collection on my bookshelf. Pay no attention to the big book; that's Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes collection. Had I grown up with Connery, I probably wouldn't ever consider ranking him anything other than #1. But I grew up with Brosnan (and now Craig), so while I respect Connery as the original and the definitive template of who Bond is supposed to -- and as the actor with the better movies -- if I were stuck on an island somewhere and only allowed to watch one James Bond movie/actor, it wouldn't be his.Honestly, I think Craig has the potential to match him in terms of greatness as remembered by history...he just needs one or two more really good movies.
