Most bad films can easily earn 8.0+/10, like Inferno 8.0/10, Allegiant 8.1/10, The Great Wall 8.4/10

Generally when people say "substance" they mean characters they cared about and a story they found to be compelling. Substance is pretty subjective actually.

13 Hours is a fantastic movie pretty much all because of Michael Bay.

 

Michael Bay can do things with the camera and tell a story with the camera in ways other directors simply can't.

 

 

Everytime a Bay movie is released, on this forum either everyone else is giving Baumer a hard time, or Baumer is giving everyone else a hard time.

Just got out of this movie, man this movie Fucking sucked. Flying shit-box throwing crap all over the those who viewed this film at the local theater I go to. Is it worst than Age of Extinction and Rotf? Yeah it's MUCH MUCH worse than those two films.

Relegating Optimus Prine to a near cameo was completely asinine.

Even the action was garbage, as numerous people have mentioned, the whole aspect ratio switch was jarring. Especially when you see it in a premiere IMAX theater like the one I go to. I hated this movie. Avoid this movie like the plague.
