So 20m is probable. That's the equivalent of 200m in the US right?

you would think so given MIGP's result.  but MIGP opened before christmas giving that film excellent legs while MIRN is opening during school time with holidays some time off.  not saying it won't have legs but GP had a small advantage that got it to that excellent total of over 17m.  20m is ultimately the target here for RN, but more realistically we are looking at a result around 15m in my mind.  look at what happened with MI3 which opened in May that year... 3.8m to just over 10m total.

From my sites numbers we're looking at a #1 weekend for Trainwreck but only around $4-$4.5m depending on how much it surges tomorrow. Mission impossible and Fantastic Four will be battling for second.

I'll have actual numbers tomorrow!

I think Trainwreck's OW is not that bad.

having previews OW was only expecting around 3.5 , might end up 3-3.5 range , OD should end up around 480k mark

F4 #2 had by far the worst OD of Marvel/DC film in last 5 years by a country mile , going back 10 yrs just slightly above the likes of Ghost Rider, Elektra, I Hulk

Less than 1/2 recent AM (in NZ about 23% of AM and slightly ahead of Mi5 2nd thu), will really need to recover thru weekend to get anything substantial, Yeah MI5 might top it for  weekend

Top10 in USD.

Trainwreck grossed $2.35 mln last weekend and $4.56 mln with two weeks of previews. MI5 beat Fantastic Four.

Last Cab to Darwin had the best start for australian movies in six months. Not counting Mad Max, of course. You can also watch trailer here

Dragonball did reasonably well.
