But "bomb" is supposed to mean one of the worst performing films, and this isn't doing that. You can't have most films be bombs.

It's one of bigger midweek-day opening in 2014 even if usually movies starts on thursday, but sometimes are anticipated on wednesday like AS. Big boxoffice days of this weekend are friday (national holiday here) and saturday.
