BOM has always been reliable to find box office for movies so far in the past. I just hope they bring that whole layout over to IMDB if they're combining the two sites into one.

I think if they make the site's info a part of IMDB Pro there will be blood in the streets. Surely IMDB can't be that oblivious, can they? To paraphrase Selina Meyer, the level of incompetence at that company is staggering!

It was such a wonderful database, I would be pissed if that's true :/ And IMDB is much less convenient...Their forums are really shitty by the way..looks like a forum from the 90s!

Why the jump to conclusions from "IMDB is shutting the site down" -> "IMDB will force us to pay for the same info that used to be free"? Just asking.

Originally they had the "it'll be back soon" type of message. For more than 12 hours or so. Now it redirects to imdb's list.

 

If it's not an intentional permanent switch, that's a sign that the problems run deep, and they realized this afternoon that it's going to take a lot longer to fix than they had hoped.
