Avengers: Age of Ultron OS Thread | $945.7M OS | $1.405B WW

Recommended Posts

Tsk-Tsk-Tsk-Tsk-Tsk-Tsk.

Movies that made over $1.2B WW are never seen as flops.

It ain't the end of the world, guys.

It's already over Frozen now, and it looks like to beat HP: DH2.

Unless Disney decides to re-release AOU: again in theaters, they will say they got their $1.4B grosser.

Just under 35m week. Not bad at all. Out of that China is less than half and so its a great hold minus china for sure.

Around $65M left before Age of Ultron passes Deathly Hallows' overseas take. Assuming ~$25M from Japan, $40M more seems plausible for Age of Ultron.

I can't believe that we are genuinely concerned whether it can surpass Deathly Hallows - Part 2. A month ago everyone assumed that would happen anyway.

Not a Marvel Fan

But i liked AoU alottttt expected it to cross 1.5B mark but looks like its gonna wind up below 1.4B

Not a disaster knor a flop....but disappointing considering the fact that most expected movie this year failed to outgross FF7

Apart from these its BlockBuster

Disney/Marvel’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron took in another $17.6M during the current session for an international total of $894.2M and a global haul of $1.32B. It’s playing in 91 offshore markets with China in the lead at $225.5M, followed by Korea ($82.1M), the UK ($71.7M), Mexico ($49.9M) and Brazil ($46.8M). Japan will be the last international territory for Ultron on July 4.

Bottom line: we'll all be relieved if it crosses $1.4B and if it doesn't collapse completely in N. America from now on, that is possible.

It needs $79M to cross $1.4B WW after this weekend. Unless it over performs in Japan, it will likely either miss that mark, or barely skate pass it.

So who all were those so sure of this crossing $80m in Mexico after the OW?

As expected AoU was underestimated. This time $1.3m:

"Disney/Marvel’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron took in another $18.9M (up from an est. $17.6M) during the current session for an international total of $895.6M and a global haul of $1.32B."

It passed The Avengers OS ;)

China has 8m more to come. held better than expected last weekend and increased the expected total by 10m

OS-CJ has 18m at best

Dom 22m

1.38B + Japan, all up Japan now to surprise or bomb to pass or fail 1.4b

1.4B is 50/50 now Keyser, looking better than a week ago
