Not really excited for anything now that Conjuring moved. Crimson Peak is really the only one that interests me right now.

I'm looking forward to:

Paranormal Activty: The Ghost Dimension, Insidious Chapter 3, Poltergeist, Sinister 2, Friday the 13th.

The sequels and remakes, ooops. That Untitled New Line film could be interesting. Unfriended sounds dire.

They should scrap a straight sequel and just reboot.

No! I am very interested in Gina Phillips' character and her son and all that rumored stuff. Finish it off as a trilogy and then reboot it or continue it in the same universe but different characters.

And I still haven't heard anything on Final Destination 6. T.T. I need it in my life right now.

The Woman In Black 2: Angel of Death actually got horror 2015 off to an OK start. It looks like it's going to finish between $26-27m in the US. It was acquired for $1m. Internationally, it's grossed $7.1m from 3 markets and should finish over $50m worldwide by the end of its run.

The trailer for Demonic showed up online. The long delayed (by Dimension, naturally) film from producer James Wan. No release date is set, yet it opens in Turkey in April this year. See the trailer here : http://screenrant.com/demonic-movie-trailer-2015/

The trailer for Blumhouse's Unfriended debuted on MTV and already has 6.4m views. Desktop horror.

The Lazarus Effect debuted it's trailer during a special promotion on Pretty Little Liars:

Nothing yet on Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension. I think the release date will be pushed back. The Paranormal Activity trailers usually show up just over two months before the release date. They're leaving this one a little late.

One of the stars of Poltergeist has said the remake is "more of a kids adventure" and "not Conjuring scary". Wow.

Watched What We Do In The Shadows a few weeks ago and we loved it.

Do yourself a favor and go in as ignorant as possible. (Though now that I say that, I realize it's not for everybody here.)

So I'll say this much.

It's a comedy about 4 housemates who just happen to be vampires. And you see how these vampires go about living their everyday lives.

Brilliant movie.

Not sure if these will be 2015 releases but two pretty big stories are out there.

1) There will be a new Halloween movie, they're calling it a recalibration, not a remake....whatever that means.

2) Martyrs, one of the most disturbing and fucked up and brilliant horror films out there, is being remade by Jason Blum productions.  I have no idea if this will get a north American release but according to dreadcentral.com, it's already in the can.

I can't wait for that Martyrs remake, Baumer. Love how they kept that under wraps.

Sorry I've not been updating this a lot, really busy just now.

Regression (Ethan Hawke and Emma Watson) will be added back in after the first trailer, it has horror elements.

Crimson Peak trailer is out, but I'm not excited. Not my kind of film. Looks like the type of horror women over 45 would enjoy most.

Update on trailer views: Youtube and Facebook

Crimson Peak: 5,500,0000

Unfriended: 28,000,000 (!!!!)

Poltergeist: 10,000,000

Insidious Chapter 3: 9,000,000

Lazarus Effect (7m) Woman in Black 2 (10m).

Unfriended is going to be huge on opening day. Lots of young girls seem very interested. They also rush out on opening night.
