I don't believe !

SPECTRE is release with the best date possible. 11/11 this is Armistice Day in France ! It will decrease quickly.

Star Wars will release with a normal date, but it will have all the holidays for be a success.

Opening day record (in admissions) is not often beaten !

TOP 10 :

1/Spectre (official opening day waiting)

2/Spider Man 3 : 804 345 admissions (2007)

3/Taxi 2 : 801 922 (2000)

4/Ice Age 3 : 767 099 (2009)

5/Harry Potter 7.2 : 732 206 (2011)

6/Harry Potter 5 : 720 610 (2007)

7/Pirates of the Caribbean 2 : 693 303 (2006)

8/Revenge of the Sith : 641 799 (2005)

9/Harry Potter 2 : 631 400 (2002)

10/Astérix Mission Cléopâtre : 629 148 (2002)

Nevertheless, Revenge of the Sith had a normal date in 2005, but no holidays period unlike this new Star Wars.

You don't believe/think? It's not about belief, it's about data : SW7 has the biggest presales EVER in France, very far ahead of all other movies ever released. So yes SW7 shattering that record is very likely.

I am not a soothsayer !

I don't believe best opening day for SW7.

The period isn't favorable, but why not !

After all, all is possible.

Advanced screenings tonight in Australia.

AUD750,071 from the Wednesday evening previews in Australia.  It's a pretty good number.  I believe theatres only had one showing per screen.

Bad news in France !

With new attack in Paris, the box office will be bad this week.

Sorry, but it's terrible !

Paris is in war !

The box office is 0% important taking into account the situation in Paris.

Of course. The box office isn't terrible, but the attack is terrible.

Sorry !

Yes............the attack in Paris is terrible, and obviously people will be staying indoors for a few days.

But, hopefully when the nightmare is over, the French people will be able to go back to a normal life!

Now Spectre's OS is at $413M. And it's at $543M WW.

Next weekend, it will be the second highest grossing Bond-flick. Well done, old chap. :bravo:

Its probably a bit higher than that, coz if you are quoting BO MOJO, their International figures are not quite upto date with other BO sources, which put SP's Int' haul at $419 mil.
