Year 10 Discussion Thread

So what would it actually take to get this really going again? The schedule for the final Year 10 trimester now has at least two releases every weekend as intended. Are we waiting on specific pending film submissions, or do we need people to run the reviewing/predicting/box office calculating aspects?

Ideally we would set a deadline for anyone to finish up their projects by. I'm still doing some work on both of my biggest pieces but they should be done relatively soon. I'll get some fillers out too. Then once we through that we would do the critical/box office/oscars and so on

So who all would be authoritative enough in this game to set/suggest a deadline?

In my personal opinion the tentative deadline should be whenever I finish my movies :P

Kidding aside if this thing is really up and ready to get going again @cookie and Myself will probs talk about since we're who seems to be active right now. see if maybe @rukaio101 is anywhere to be found

Cool. The way I see it - if there are people who have lost interest/not kept up, well, maybe if it gets going again without them they'll be coaxed back in like a hitman who thought he'd only do one last job. If they don't finish their pending submissions for this year they can always re-submit 'em next time around. There are only two weekends without two finished films set for them so the game will be fine without them :P

Yeah. That's all fair. Just personally want a little more time for a couple projects. I'll probably throw some more fillers out on dates that look a little more empty if it gets to that

FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS I HAVE LAID DORMANT! WHO NOW AWAKENS ME FROM MY SLUMBER TO- Oh, it's just this. Cool. If you're wanting to try a revival, I'd be on board. I'm too busy these days to get too heavily involved, especially in any sort of administrative fashion, but I may be able to do a few films for funsies if people give me a heads up when this gets started.

Well I finished a He-Man movie already. Maybe if December 18 ends up empty (since none of those films are finished right now) I'll plop it there. Otherwise I should be able to get early pickings of release dates next year.

Oh Thanks, please tell me if you have any suggestions.

You seem to be off to a splendid start. Things are in a bit of waiting period right now. As some people (myself definitely included) are in need of motivation to finish our projects :P

Look forward to your continued participation

I honestly do not understand some of the rules and processes of this game. Should I do something after posting my movie?
