I think that $500M OS will happen.

Currently it has $372.5M and it still has 3 major markets(Italy,China and Germany) and 2 smaller markets(Greece,Austria).

It will make at least $100M from the upcoming major markets(Italy:$10m,Germany:$20M,China:$60m-70m)and $4m from the other 2 so it only needs around $25m from the playing markets.

Unless it starts to drop enormously which I doubt happening.

It would be really great if this reaches $500m OS. Absolutely unexpected and very well deserved.

 

Being an original animated film, just Frozen, The Lion King and Finding Nemo would have done more money WW.

Pixar movie have never been big in China so anything over $50M is a success.

I think it will make $60M-70M.

Do you think IO can make $80m in China?? Wow, that would be amazing. If I am not wrong, last Pixar film (Monster University), did barely $30-35m. Although to think in a bit more than double than MU figure done 2 years ago is not so crazy.

BH6 did $84m so can IO do that. IO will be the last improted animation of 2015 and likely to get extended run to November. No way it has poor legs in China when its legs and WOM are great everywhere else.

Minions' legs have been excellent in almost all of its markets too, so am thinking the gap would be 50m at least.
