BO must be calculating Venezuelan numbers with our lower ER (Bs6.3/$). BOM must be doing it with our 2nd ER (Bs12.3/$) tho. :(

This film underperformed pretty bad, since it's nearing the end of its run. Early predictions had it following the same pattern as the last Harry Potter film, but it's made less than the final Twilight film which is embarassing.

No. It performed the way the final book split in two would perform. Predictions were uneducated and ignored what the movies were actually about. So that got two films making about $700 million each before homes sales instead of one $900 million grossing film.

Would have had a decent shot at 1B ww if it was one movie. First off the good will of Catching fire, and a good chance that the qualety of one MJ movie would have been a lot beter and so let more people rewatch it and live up to the hype.

Great to see how it grew. MP1 suffered because of the exchange rates an MJ2 does even more. With old ER it would have been at $55M

It crossed €40M (source: insidekino) so it should be at 43,6 now to become the highest grossing movie of the series. Great that we stayed with Katniss :)

If only it could've increased like that domestically.
