EDDIE THE EAGLE | 02.26.2016 | Fox | final domestic gross: $15,789,389

Really digging the trailer.

Maybe I'm a sucker for a certain style of British movie, but contrast this to the putrid trailer for Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, and well, you can see why.

The typical American comedy is predictably imperialist, myopic, insensitive and awful.

Saw a screening of "Eddie The Eagle" tonight. It was enjoyable, but not as good as the last "based on a true story" feel good movie I saw (The 33).

Eggsy did a great job as Eddie and Hugh gets another chance to play the Wolverine in this.

I didn't like the 80's score. It got a bit annoying after awhile.

7.5 out of 10

Did it show him as a fairly accomplished skier (barely missed making the 84 Olympics for UK in the downhill) or just some lovable schlep who decided to take up ski jumping?
