Ed Helms-Owen Wilson Comedy ‘Bastards’ Gets November 2016 Release Date

Warner Bros has set a November 4, 2016, release date for its Ed Helms-Owen Wilson comedy Bastards. The film, which marks the directorial debut of DP Lawrence Sher, is about two brothers whose eccentric mother has fabricated the story that their father had died when they were young. When they find out the story is false, they make it their mission to find their real father.

Nope Not happening. the film has been pushed back two months To January 27.

It was announced last week when they moved the Lego movie sequel to Feb 8, 2019 as well with upcoming WB film releases. I don't know why the delay but WB has all of the answers

It looks surprisingly silly! Could be a modest hit. If it's good I expect Wedding Ringer numbers for this. If this came out in 2007, the film would've made $80-$100 million.

Yeah, this either isn't opening at the end of the month or the studio is completely dumping it. I've never seen the trailer in theaters and there hasn't been a poster released.

Well, this has a release date now.  Coming out in a prime date of Christmas of this year.  Trailer is pretty amusing.  I wonder how it will do over Christmas.  Apparently it's coming out on the same weekend as Pitch 3 and Downsizing.

This began shooting in October 2015 for a November 2016 release. I wouldn't expect much, even with a Christmas release.

WB are dumping it at this point, it'll probably do $40-50m domestic at best
