Welcome to the Fantasy Box Office for January 2016....

 

This thread will be where you invest in movies that are targeted for release in January.  I will also use this thread to post results from January also.  Yes this is the official first thread of the 2016 game!

Updated as at 16th February 2016.  ( I will update this regularly as things update)  Investment lists are as per BOM as always.  Budgets updated as per "The Numbers" Preview.  (All movies are now released... just tracking the $ earnt now.

Nah, its not even to 100% yet. Plus, it occurs to me that the kick off might actually be tomorrow. I was thinking 12 is the turn off day, but its possible 12:01 was intended.

I'm going to accept everyones investment as the time allowed has now passed and no film is fully booked out... but 

 

I'm running the game on GMT - 5 hours (do not use daylight savings) which is Eastern Standard Time.

Most of the posts above were posted about 3 to 4 hours too early 

 

As mentioned, the films have been available for some 4 hours now.  so i'm accepting everyone's post as enough time has passed.  I guess a few of you were a little eager

actually now that i think about with the 7pm starts i might need to close the investments time earlier  I am willing to reconsider the time.

 

Say 7pm the day before is when it closes of Eastern Standard Time. which would mean i would start the film being available from 7pm EST 1 month earlier ...

 

i'll post this in the main thread as a thought ?

So movies become available a month in advance at 5 am Eastern Time?

This post has been posted @ my local time of 10.46pm 8th Dec (Australian EST).  ~ GMT + 10 hours

 

That should be the equivalent of 7.46am Eastern Standard Time (US/Canada) ~ GMT - 5hours

 

All the posts above were posted some 10 to 11 hours ago which wouldn't have been midnight EST.

 

i think you've GMT mixed up here.. 5am GMT would be correct however.  but as noted in the main thread I may bring it forward anyway.......

I find the GMT thing confusing. Can we just use EST?
