Breaking Dawn II. You know the academy like to honour amazing series' when they've finished ala LOTR so that's why BD II will win best picture regardless of quality as the rest have been fantastic.

Fanboy :rolleyes::P:lol:

I don't think we can speculate about TDKR until we see how the movie turns out. Its quite possible they treat it like they treated DH2. Granted, it is because of TDK that the nominee system changed anyway...and once they see how awful this year's ratings are, they'll probably feel the need to nominate a huge movie (if its well-received). The Hobbit could just as easily fill that void though, potentially.The fact is that the Academy simply doesn't share the same feelings for Nolan as most of the rest of the world. In time, that will change because the older voters will die off and be replaced the younger up-and-coming members. But until then, all bets are off for his films. Inception proved that.

I'm not banking on a Hobbit nomination just yet (or TDKR). Both have an insanely high level of expectations to live up to, and the Academy has already shown it doesn't fully "get" Nolan and his work.Meanwhile, Jackson has already won everything he can and matching LOTR in quality -- in the eyes of older voters especially -- is going to be extremely difficult, if not impossible. But, hey, if it turns out great...at least they like him. :lol:
