All you needed to do was sweep her off her feet with your obsession with Nolan.  Hell, throw in a bit of Monster Trucks to impress her with Lucas Till's powers.  BOOM.  Immediate sex.

That seems likely but it would also be an enormous mistake. It would mean they didn't learn anything from the failure of the Clinton campaign.

I forgot to add that they'll also run a candidate that promises to end the the Russian occupation of America and absorb Ukraine into the EU/NATO even though Russia will send the tanks to Kiev before that happens.

If you're talking about the studio going bankrupt, I don't think people losing their jobs is "hilarious."

Agreed, but mismanagement can be funny and have sad consequences at the same time.

It's sad people are losing their jobs, but the dirty details are rife for a black comedy script.

Can you provide some links to the details?

The most lol-worthy passage

Among the signs that Relativity did not have nearly enough cash to make and release movies: the company invested in a “big digital initiative,” which turned out to be a pornography website, the lawsuit alleges. Fields said he found out about the site, which is not identified in the lawsuit, when “he saw a group of ‘models’ show up at Relativity’s offices for a meeting with Brunetti for what he later learned was a photo shoot.”

It might be this: http://variety.com/2017/biz/news/relativity-media-woes-1201957452/

Quote

But a few note, as an unsettling new low, the arrival at corporate headquarters of yet another media offshoot: the raunchy, flesh-fixated website Egotastic. To them, the proximity of the online T&A emporium was the surest sign that Relativity would never be resurrected as a mainstream entertainment concern.

Beginning in mid-2016, Egotastic set up housekeeping alongside regular Relativity employees. According to witnesses, on at least a few occasions, photographers and scantily clad models would traipse through the office. Some employees found it embarrassing that the site, featuring unvarnished discussion of the anatomies of multiple actresses, was being run out of a company that worked with some of those same stars.

“I walked through the office with an administrator and said, ‘What are we going to do about this — it’s inappropriate,’ ” says one former Relativity employee. “And the response was, ‘Let’s put up a curtain, and nobody will be affected.’ It was ridiculous.”

While there was nothing illegal about the photo shoots, two former employees say they were another sign of Relativity’s inability to maintain professional standards, as it lurched out of bankruptcy and into a new incarnation of multiple promises but little real progress.

Insiders believed that the website was purchased by Kavanaugh’s family investment company, Knight Global. But a Relativity statement says Egotastic was bought by Relativity itself in a deal arranged by a former marketing executive and structured by a now-alienated Relativity investor. The company had no comment on employees’ discomfort with the website.

I'll post another shout out for my music of the week thread.  Next update is coming either Saturday or Sunday, featuring music by a composer you've most likely never heard of before (I'm saying that because he's new and is only just starting to get some attention for his Choral works in Texas)

We can get rid of the left and the right for all I care. Both sides have some real loons who aren't willing to work together or put bias aside. America won't get anything done until we stop acting so partisan. Our gun issues is a big example. We could easily all come together and compromise legislation, but with both sides its my way or the highway, which has less the country at an impasse.

Sandy Hook, Pulse, Dallas, Aurora, etc etc etc, nothing has been done because we're too busy fighting each other rather than the issue. Matter of fact, after those officers were killed in Dallas, I went on Twitter, it hadn't even been an hour yet and everyone was already pushing their own gun agenda. No one was talking about the slain officers. Shame.

Both can go.

I'm genuinely curious. How do you compromise on a stance of background checks for all guns sold and no one on the no fly list able to buy a gun? Democrats have already backed off the assault weapons ban and magazine limits for the most part. Both sides do have fault for sure, but seeing as every single domestic issue has the majority of Americans onboard with the policy of Democrats; Background checks, Planned Parenthood, Abortion rights, Climate change, Gay marriage, Reining in the banks, Voting rights, Minimum wage, Infrastructure, Taxes, Social Security, Medicare, Obamacare, Civil rights and so many more how are they supposed to compromise further? Aren't they supposed to represent the will of the American people? Again not trying to be snarky or anything here, I honestly want to know what you think could/should be done.

The problem isn't policy or lack of compromisation imo, it's trying to score political points instead of working together to help all Americans. Democrats also have a messaging problem that they can't seem to cut through. They don't usually shout and scream, so Republicans get the most attention, which leaves the American people seeing more of one side then the other. Both sides are political and say things to score points, but one side does have a better argument with the American people on their side.

I'm not sure how you can compromise on the gun issue right now.  The GOP stance is basically no restrictions at all,  for any reason.

It's not as if the Democrats are arguing that we should get rid of all guns.  Just,  maybe,  y'know,  perhaps we should do a few little things like background checks.

So if you can figure out a compromise point when one side goes "How about this?"  and the other goes "No."  "Well,  how about this instead?"  "No." "Well,  okay,  what would you suggest?" "Nothing."

Now,  I'm pretty strongly against guns.  I can see reasons why someone might need one,  but hardly in the volume that exists.  With that said,  I'm also pretty resigned that we're not going to see any meaningful change.  When America collectively looked at Sandy Hook and decided that was acceptable,  that was probably the end of it.  At least for another generation.

Very eloquently said & quite correct. I can't see anything happening now if 24(?) dead children isn't enough. It's sad :(

I can't tell whether "ending with a bang" means it ended on a high note or it means it ended with you banging.  Could you please clarify this

So it is pretty much official that the Chargers are going to LA.  I am guessing around 11-12 years (maybe sooner) both teams will have moved to another city and LA will not have a football team again :P
