I wonder, what is the biggest "shark" movie of all time?

That includes sharks? that would be Finding Nemo. If that doesn't count and you mean as part of the main story, then Jaws.

Ha ha. Yes, I meant live action only. Woah, JAWS has held the record for a long time.

I don't think these are all its markets. I know it's getting released in Mexico on July 15th and I believe it got released in Thailand over this weekend based on a ton of tweets coming in about it in Thai.

This has the potential to hit $100M depending on how it performs in its remaining countries.

It still has UK, Italy, Brazil, France, Germany, Portugal, China and quite a few other countries actually. I think it's opened in less than half of the countries it's supposed to be released in.

Do you think it can do it @Baumer

I've actually seen a few spots for it on TV. I love films like this, I'll probably see it with 2for1 on Wednesday, but it's not the type of film that'll make a lot anyway. Maybe £5m, max.

Booked tickets for its opening this Wednesday here in the UK. Haven't seen any advertising unfortunately, and it's playing in smaller rooms.

I hope you guys like it. It's a small B-film that does a good job with having very little. Hopefully it at least does decent money in the UK. I'm hoping it doesn't outright tank haha

Sony is so dumb then. Ruining the film for those who haven't watched it yet especially because it's been well received in the UK by the critics so it has that going for it.

Really hoping this can get some decent numbers from the remaining markets.
