This always sounded like an idea that could go both ways but this trailer definitely picked my interest.

I'm a huge fan of the original and this brought back so many images.

Shallow Grave, Trainspotting and 127 Hours are actually the only Boyles I really like. But almost everything he's done is interesting enough that I'm always curious about whatever he's doing next.

I'm pretty much a Boyle fanboy. His style gets me amped and I like that he's willing to hit as many genres as possible with it. This looks a little like a repeat but still good. obviously I'm there opening weekend.

Sue me, I think Slumdog Millionaire is great too

 

Saw Trance on an airplane and that was a pretty fun watch. Steve Jobs just seemed like material way too square for his style and I've never gotten around to watching it. Probably will eventually, though

I'm not "around here" enough to know, but I rewatched it recently and thought it was pretty bad. Probably didn't help that I watched it with my partner who is Indian and they hated it.

Argo might be a better comparison since it won Best Picture, although Bruce has a much smaller filmography than either Jim or Danny.

 

Plus I quite like Argo.

I'm not sure if a sequel was a good idea but i'm definitely watching it. The original is one of my favourite films of the 90's.

Have never seen sell outs like this before. It had sold out every Friday showing at all Cineworlds in Scotland by Tuesday this week.

 

They added more screenings yesterday. This never happens in the UK.

Nice to see reviews are solid. Kind of strange that, even here in the UK, the buzz for the sequel to the most notorious British movie of the 90s is so minimal — but I guess people don't like being reminded that they're much older now.
