Looks like Me Before You has actually got to $200M WW....on a $20M budget. :D

Pretty good winner for Warner Bros.

See, guys. That's how you make big sleeper hits with a very small budget. Blockbusters needs to have smaller budgets next time. Under $100M budget works always fine. No need to go over budget. :)

It was always going to be profitable, I think there should room for mid budget films but I doubt studios will be cutting the budgets of the tentpoles anytime soon.

Warner Bros/New Line had a great summer, the budgets for MBY, Conjuring 2, Central Intelligence and Lights Out combined was lower than Tarzan but all were profitable.

CI and MBY were both co-productions. In most places MBY wasn't released by WB. CI was Universal in every OS market.

Still profitable for all parties involved though. I'm sure WB did release MBY in most countries like UK, Australia etc who distributed elsewhere MGM? or local distributors

MGM in partnership with local distributors. Most Europe was like that.

about 80% of world film was distributed by WB, rest Local, MGM doesn't distribute theatrically films anymore its all done by other partners.
