Is La La Land expanding this weekend? Otherwise HF should benefit from MLK and carry the 4-day. Selma jumped +22% in 2015 during MLK weekend. HF is not as topical as Selma was, but I can see a very good performance from it.

No matter how much La La Land expands I can't see it doing more than 15m over the 3-day and Hidden Figures should beat that pretty easily. Especially since it'll be adding a few hundred theaters too.

That is good that La La Land will get it and deserves it. Also I am in Abu Dhabi, UAE to visit my parents since my dad is a professor at NYU campus and I am going to have a fun time. Also I took the Lufthansa flight to UAE, and I finally got to see the Japanese box office hit Your Name as part of the inflight entertainment, and It was awesome and I loved that movie very much, and I give it an A, and recommend you see it.

No kidding. After seeing Sing's number I thought my $1.8M prediction for Rogue One would be way off but it turns out it held pretty well relative to others.

To be fair, though, Fences was never going to be a big hit, especially after seeing it.
