Was hoping Kong would hold better and stay above 4M. Still on track for a $25-$26 million weekend. If it seems the same multiplier as Godzilla it will finish with $139M-140M. I think this is definitely gonna hold better.

Intense and delicious hold for Logan, which is a violent R rated movie.

 

200 million domestic is obviously 100% possible now.  Ok hold for Kong.

 

BATB will cut a lot of legs and screens, though. Logan is still fighting the good fight, against Kong, against BATB, against Power Rangers and Ghost in the Shell. Logan had a hell of competition.

I realize it doesn't matter at this point, but could anyone explain to me why Rogue One's gross randomly more than doubled and didn't dip like the other films? I only ask because my theory was Beauty and the Beast / Rogue One double features...? Somewhere? I didn't know if that was a thing, but I don't see that offered near me. I saw some drive-through theaters have double features scheduled for next week, though, so that's all I could think.
