Zootopia:  NA

You still haven't seen it?

Edit: Yikes, after seeing Tele's post re: Lawrence of Arabia, this seems like a minor detail.

I have no intention of seeing Zootopia or any other animated film.  When I do it's usually because I'm with my nieces.  Animation for the most is just not quite my tempo.

I definitely plan on seeing Lawrence of Arabia and 2001. I've seen 2001 when I was something like seven years old so I have no recollection of it. Therefore I can't give it a grade.

Do I have to use the BOM list, or can I use my more accurate list which I maintain a thread for on this site?

http://forums.boxofficetheory.com/topic/16207-top-200-domestic-grossing-movies-of-all-time-adjusted-for-inflation/

The difference between the two lists is that BOM is missing 15 older movies, so the bottom 15 on BOM's list shouldnt be there. The movies that should be in the list instead are:

For Whom the Bell Tolls

This is the Army

Samson And Deliliah

song of the south

white christmas

from here to eternity

south pacific

20,000 Leagues under the Sea

Giant

Quo Vadis

bonnie and clyde

The longest Day

How the West was Won

Tom Jones

Fiddler on the Roof

Hmm. I wasn't aware of this list. My apologies.

For the sake of consistency and for people who have already made theirs, it's probably best to use the BOM list. If there ends up being another one of these then your list will be the one used.

Watching all 200 is quite the feat, although our taste in movies is incredibly different. I found Forrest Gump mostly tedious and silly, and Return Of The Jedi And Temple Of Doom the worst of their Franchise (including the prequels and Crystal Skull).

I find that my taste in movies differs from a lot of people, so I am not surprised that our tastes are different.

I might be the only person who actually did see all the movies on the list. I have been interested in the list for years so I tracked down the older films to watch them over the last few years. You can find The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse on Youtube. It is a very hard movie to get through unless you like silent movies.

I'm at 70 that I have ranked, and I've seen a few others a long time ago and wouldn't know where to rank them now.

I have never actually seen a silent film, to me sound seems like such a crucial part of a film that a silent film would simply be inferior, and with so many good films to see I don't feel the need to see any.

Mel Gibson directed a silent film called Apocalypto that was surprisingly good, despite being silent. However, other than that, I have never been able to enjoy silent films. I tried with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse because it was on this list, made Rudolph Valentino a star and had the famous tango scene that The Simpsons spoofed in an episode. However, I just enjoyed it so little that I ranked it almost at the bottom of this list.

I've actually liked every silent film I've seen (all 7 of them haha) in fact in general I find them more enjoyable then most films from the 30s and 40s.
