No idea. Looking into Saturday and Sunday, it hasn't sold much yet, so WOM could keep families on the fence away.

Wasteland for family movies...this would be only the 2nd PG movies in theaters in the last month...and it's been 4 weeks since DM3...and it's not like people are holding funds for Nut Job 2 or Leap...

 

Not saying it's getting to $30M...but I'd be more surprised with a number under $20M than a number around $30M...

For Emoji tomorrow at one local...

4 2d showings, 2 3d showings - 110 seat theater

2d - 58/110 (1st cheap show), 36/110, 13/110, 20/110 = 127/440 sold already

3d - 8/110, 1/110 = 9/220 (3d selling crappy - not a surprise b/c all 3d animation has sold crappy all summer)

 

These numbers are CU numbers or better for Friday...since it has less of the 3d non-selling showings than CU got stuck with here...

 

EDIT: Cheap show Saturday is already presold for 57/110 seats...
