Good theatre drops for pirates and guardians. Guardians almost double the number of theatres than civil war at same point and only behind AOU by 200. I expect WW to have very small TC drop too.

My Cousin Rachel got whacked.  I thought this might do Far From The Madding Crowd/ Anna Karenina numbers and it looks like it will struggled to do a fourth of those domestically.  Megan Leavy also got hit hard.  So many wide releases hogging screens (even when bombing) is a tough time to open specialty releases wide.

It's a good thing The Beguiled and The Big Sick are expanding when they are. The market will have room to accomodate them:

Transformers could be down to 1 screen at many theaters if it does less than 35M for the 3 day this weekend

Cars will be down to 1 nearly everywhere as well

Rough Night is going to have a rough TC drop next weekend

All Eyez on Me is very frontloaded and probably performing like shit at theaters in less-populated areas like mine

Captain Underpants is dwindling down

Who knows the effects of POTC and GOTG's fudges last weekend

The Mummy is having shit PTAs

Even if The Big Sick stays wide on July 14, there are only two other wide releases, and again, theaters will have stuff to get rid of.

One might say that Megan Leavey tends to leave theaters.

Just now, DAJK said:

How amazing would it be if Baby Driver could pull a 30M+ 5-day

I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility. There's been a bunch of screenings over the past couple days in addition to 100% on RT, and the market is primed for a breakout. Maybe the next update from the source can give us an idea of where it might land, because those Pulse appearances are a good sign.
