Good stuff.  I love the Hanlon character....well, I like all the kids...but Ben, Mike and Bill are my faves.

Yeah it's been more slow going then I thought since I am doing the audiobook and really only listen to it at work which isn't easy with my one coworker that doesn't work but never shuts up about the stupidest stuff sometimes :P

when this YT portion of the audiobook is done, I'll have to get the actual book because I don't see the next chapters anywhere.  It give me past chapter 10 and it has been good.

I thought I had the book somewhere or at my mom's but I think she threw away a lot of the Stephen King books i bought for her and she only found the Dreamscapes one

Any idea how long until actuals are released? I'm actually curious for the slight chance GOTG II and AC could trade places.

Without our two deities, we have to wait for guys like Gitesh.  That could happen now, it could happen in 5 hours.

I re-watched PRTHEUS and used subtitles because I am not brainy enough to keep track of all of the philosophy. Also my expectations were different than the first time I went to watch it in theaters (was so bummed that I haven't watched it again all these years until yesterday).

I will change it from a C+ to B.

(tweet from yesterday)

2nd & 3rd wknd drops for #GotGVol2 were below last yr's CivilWar & 2015's Ultron. Road ahead may lead to dom final of near $375M for #Marvel

Depending on how it deals with WONDR, GOTG2 could snag that 2.6x/381 (internal BOT) milestone.

Did Rth leave as well? I haven't seen him post in a while.

We are not praying enough for his return. He is demanding us to sacrifice more trolls

Summer through three weekends:

2012: $710.91m

2013: $643.62m

2014: $550.76m

2015: $645.78m

2016: $608.49m

2017: $545.51m

And there's no chance of catching up with 2014 this weekend.  Maybe when wonder woman opens.

May is okay, but June has potential.

TF5 has no competition from openers Wed or Fri.

CARS3 will be in 2nd weekend, MUMMY in 3rd and WW in 4th.

DM3 opens the weekend later (and should hit CARS3 hard).

Wonder how CARS3's legs will be compared to CARS2's 2.9x.

I have been an atheist for most of my adult life, and this is the first time that I feel the coldness of the absence of god(s).

So Alien looked poised to do $40m+ on Friday and we were all confident, but now that $35 comes out, suddenly its "im not surprised, I knew it would flop."

Revisionist garbage in a nutshell.

...I mean, as someone whose shoe does fit in that category, I could quote myself from a few weeks ago on my skepticism about Alien. It is totally recorded in this website. I was only converted this past weekend w/what felt like the alignment of the stars, from an extensive marketing campaign to an (originally) positive wave of wom (that then turned very mixed). Not EVERYONE in that group turned on Alien in a fingersnap... some of us were actually skeptical from the beggining. But anyhow.

Competition matters less than the fact that TF5 has virtually no buzz.

Add one more big movie to the list of China beating Dom.

Even with the dollar bump Skull Island won't get to ~168.5 (1160 yuan).
