Last year movies showed a 0-5% drop compensating for Mon holiday in Canada.

This year something similar will happen but as Tuesday get annually stronger, 0-5% increase might be in store.

Some movies go up some obviously come down. Everything everything I had a terrific increase.

Civil War held better on Tuesday (-4.2%), but GOTG2 leads by $3.39M to $2.89M to Civil War. GOTG2 EVEN BETTER THAN ULTRON ($3.02M on Tuesday). ''GOTG2 Dropped 43% from last Tuesday''

 

BATB dropped just 21% from last Tuesday. Just an incredible legs  these last weeks.

Yeah the family films as discussed yesterday corrected from inflated Monday. However the adult film increases were still good, for some really good.

Bigger Tues bump = Bigger Wed Drop.  If it drops like the last couple of weeks it should have about a 33% drop Wed for a $2.27 which puts it more in line with Ultron $2.33 (which opened almost week earlier so it's a bit earlier in May and was $3m on Tues) and the same as CW: $2.27

Civil War dropped -4.3% on the Tuesday after Victoria Day Monday and then -21.4% on Wednesday (previous Wednesday drops were -34.2% and -34.8%)

 

Ultron dropped -12.1% on the Tuesday after Victoria Day Monday and then -22.9% on Wednesday (previous Wednesday drops were -27.5% and -28.3%)

 

GOTG Vol. 2 just dropped -6% on the Tuesday after Victoria Day Monday. So similar to Ultron/Civil War (though totally anecdotal), I could see it dropping less than 30% into Wednesday. But I could be reading a trend into something that isn't one.
