How could you overlook Frances McDormand (...how badly did she need that paycheck?) and John Malkovich in the third one?

Yep, it must suck to star in a billion dollar franchise.

Originally I was reserving my vote for Stanley Tucci, but after some thought and examination I have to give it to John Turturro.  He creates a memorable character and puts some good work in.  He is to Transformers as what J.K. Simmons is to the Spider-Man trilogy

I like in Dark of the Moon when he says, "Do not tempt my addiction".

maybe even Joe Pesci to the Lethal Weapons (i have only seen #4 so i dunno...)

Stanley Tucci. He gets what kind of movie he's in and runs with it, whereas just almost everyone else on the list takes his/her performance a bit too seriously at some points (the notable exceptions being Anthony Hopkins and John Malkovich; Turturro's almost there, but there are scenes in the third film where he kind of starts to take it seriously).

I always find it hilarious when people lament actors (any actors, but especially those perceived as respected) acting in hugely successful franchises, as if that were a bad thing.
