No, it's pretty bad. At most Dunkirk will make $26m this weekend.

Thats still a sub 50 drop. Probably does around 160-170 million with that if you compare to something like Star Trek Beyond last year. Think the point is that our expectations are kinda crazy right now.

If a movie is in theaters for 1 year, what % of total gross will be weekday gross?

I went to the BOM weekend chart for Avatar and manually calculated what it did over all the weekends combined (ignoring the re-expansion).

It did ~484 from weekends. So 484/750 = 64.5% from weekends and 35.5% from weekdays.

(when there were 4-day weekends, I only used FSS as the weekend gross).

Good, Good. As avatar was more of a winter to summer movie, We can say at normal, 35-40%, if whole year is taken. Thanks.

Wonder Woman still having early weekday updates on day 55.

No other film could ever. :wub:

Or maybe it's just because WB is releasing Dunkirk early and figures they might as well get both of their films out.

Nah it's not.

Forbes have literally been posting only WW dailies early for weeks now.

Is a Nolan film part of this year's prayer circle?

Wonder Woman is pretty much a lock for a Labor Day expansion, probably the only lock since Cars 3 may not make it to Labor Day. DM3 might expand as well.

I don't see a problem with the Wednesday so far the week is behaving normally when you drop Monday some more no look at the Tuesday drops from that lens. Wednesday is being normal with drops in the 30% range. BOTs gotta panic thought or we wouldn't be BOT
