Kingsman: The Golden Circle cell phone ad

I think there were a few moments of laughter. Someone's cell phone notifications kept on going on during the movie. Maybe about 45 minutes into it, someone confronted the person about it and her reply was "It's my birthday and you're being very rude" and thus promptly she left her phone on for the rest of the movie. Wasn't very nice ugh.

Hmm, maybe Home Again and Daddy's Home were the two trailers I missed when I saw Big Sick back in July because Apes was running late. I had the other trailers and Glass Castle/Dark Tower (they were probably removed from your mix due to late dates) :jeb!:

I've seen that trailer twice now. It looks SO BAD. What's next, a horror movie about a possessed laserdisc?

This was the first time I'd seen any footage  The Current War looks like a mess too. Weinstein is not having a good year at all.

Good Time

September 7, 12:20 PM, JUST ME

Barnstorm Theater

Trailers:

Woodshock: The only thing going through my mind was that 0% RT score

The Killing of a Sacred Deer: God DAMN that trailer is creepy as fuck in surround sound

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (Red band): I forgot how good this movie looks!

American Assassin: I muttered "Ah, fuck" when I saw that opening shot. Please come out already so I can stop getting this godawful trailer :)

mother!: YAS BITCH YAS

I laughed every now and then and got a bit fidgety in the last act I guess. An employee checked the theater about 25 minutes before the movie ended, so that scared me

IT
September 7th, 7:00 PM, 100% full
Park Place Stadium Cinemas | Charleston, WV

Extremely reactive crowd that was fun to be around.

Trailers
Death Wish - Some laughter.
Flatliners - No reactions.
Blade Runner - This got some excitement from a number of individuals.
Friend Request - EVERYBODY made fun of this trailer.

People were surprised many times by jump scares. Some looked away when certain things happened to characters. Overall, people had very positive things to say about IT. Word of mouth will make this a monster to overcome.

It

September 7th, 7:00PM, 95%

Somewhere in Canada ;)

Trailers

Mother (the next week trailer/said after the movie get your tickets) - No reaction

Jigsaw - A lady behind me said "our next movie"

Justice League (messed up aspect ratio lol) - everyone was talking on this trailer started, then everyone watched and laughed at Flash's lines. I'm not sure how to interpret this.

Blade Runner - Silence :(

The crowd skewed younger so that probably explains their disinterest in Mother and Blade Runner 2049.

People laughed at all the jokes, a few jumps, people seemed excited for Chapter Two!
