dull as shit. The special effects also look somewhat unimpressive on the small screen. Has a nice look and score though.

Probably one of the most visually thrilling movies ever made, right behind Avatar, and not only is it visually impressive but it is also well acted and is emotionally resonant. But it is however dragged out by its unnecessary 3 hour + runtime which should have been trimmed.A-

First hour is pointless and ends up being wasted time. No real characters established outside of Kong and Fay Wray, despite much, much effort. Nice production design, nice score. The climax at the Empire State Building is nicely shot, but feels redundant (it's pretty much beat for beat like the original).

Best film of 2005. Far better then the other versions. Great score and visualsOnly thing is it does feel a little long.I know I would of hated it if I was younger.A+

actually this movie is much better than I remembered. I wonder why  I had animosity to it. Still has a lot of problems like a lot of weird, unnecessary scenes but it is still a good adventure overall a nice love letter to the original

Liked it when i watched this for the first time but this movie hasn't aged well. Pretty avg stuff id prefer Godzilla (2014) and 90s version over this at any point of time!
