yads
This doesn't happen too often. All I can think of right now is Revenge of the Sith..Come up with more and discuss!Yuck. The only good thing about Sith is the Red Letter Media dissection of it.I know Spider-Man (2002) isn't exactly a bad movie, but it's pretty mediocre - and then Spider-Man 2 is totally, totally brilliant.
Jack Nevada
I know I'm a minority on this, but I really, really like ROTS. I always enjoy watching it

Noctis
Chamber of Secrets is mediocre. Prisoner of Azkaban is sensational.
Jack Nevada
Yeah, I have seen only 3 Potter's and Prisoner of Azkaban was easily the best out of them
Hatebox
Avengers springs to mind. But I can't think of any really good sequels to outright bad movies.

yads
I know I'm a minority on this, but I really, really like ROTS. I always enjoy watching itI actually prefer TPM to ROTS. Liam Neeson manages to give something resembling a performance, the fact it's not all shot against blue screen but real location shooting, and some of the Tatooine stuff reminds me of the old trilogy. It still sucks of course. But Temple itself followed a good first movie so probably doesn't count.
Jack Nevada
Which ones have you seen and what did you think of them? I have seen Philosopher's Stone (cute, entertaining, well-made), Azkaban and the final movie (a bit muddled, but still pretty good) Edited July 31, 2012 by Jack Nevada

MagnetMan
Yuck. The only good thing about Sith is the Red Letter Media dissection of it. I know Spider-Man (2002) isn't exactly a bad movie, but it's pretty mediocre - and then Spider-Man 2 is totally, totally brilliant. Ditto for "Mad Max" and "The Road Warrior" Not so much going from a bad movie to a better one... just an improvement in filmmaking in the interim. You missed out on a lot of build-up for the final film.

IMO TDK over BB. Neither or bad films in any regards IMO, but an improvement.I know many people will disagree though.
