riczhang
You can't have a 6-mins IMAX prologue for the same film. Hindenburg is on for the films that showing in IMAX from December-February, which happens to be Lord Madship. Also IMAX don't do split releases, so I'm afraid Red Pyramid won't get IMAX treatment.Would Hindenburg be attached to Oro which is IMAX 3D, as well? Or is it for Lord Madship only? The Dark Alfred
Oro will get a new IMAX trailer, but the 6-mins clip would only run till February.

Alpha
Poor Lord Madship fans. They pay to go see the movie in IMAX only to have 12 minutes spent on previewing two other movies. Actually, the two movies should play on different prints. Like one showing gets Red Pyramid, other gets Hindenburg.

riczhang
So many records get broken every year, so why not that be one?It just doesn't happen, there really aren't enough IMAX locations for that to happen. Just like how no two movies can open up in 4200+ theatres each on the same weekend. And just be glad that no studio has an exclusive IMAX contract like WB does in real life, a whole plethora of shitty WB movies get IMAX runs, and TDKR is still playing in 15/70 IMAX theatres 3 months after release. On the bright side, if The Next Dimension isn't in IMAX, Oro will have a clear IMAX run until Hindenburg. Warcraft could possibly be in IMAX but it doesn't say. Not that it really matters in CAYOM. If you split that number, then you'd get 164 theatres, which is still a decent amount for an original property or first-in-a-series.Plus, considering 40 mins of IMAX footage was shot, that would mean that all that extra footage would be useless. And that's my point exactly. 164 theatres. It's still good, right?
