I think Littlefinger will stay in Winterfell with Sansa, giving him an avenue to manipulate her.

Season 8 might not come until 2019. Dan and dave don't wannabe in a Lost like situation with underwhelming last season.

Also 5 spin-offs are being discussed. Baratheon rebellion and dunk & egg are out of picture due to martin not completing them. He don't want to be in same situation as asoiaf.

Andal invasion, war of five penny kings, blackfyre, aegon's invasion and a anthology series are being discussed.

Id love an anthology series, there's so much lore in the ASOIAF to explore.  I'd especially like them to explore more of Essos and Sothos, beyond what we've already seen.

 

Another good thing about an anthology series is it could give a variety of directors and producers to take a stab at something, and if something doesn't work, you'll be okay in the next season.
