You need to see many more: beyond Vertigo and North by Northwest, The 39 steps, Rebecca, Suspicion, The Paradine case, Strangers on a train, Dial M for murder, To catch a thief, Marnie, Torn curtain, Frenzy, ...

 

I am surprised of your note for Rope. I think it is an absolute masterpiece. However, my favorite is, like in your case, Rear Window.

so marnie had its ups and downs. some pretty big ups and some truly terrible downs actually. but i won't repeat my half-review here.

I am a guy that are fond of suspense/crime thrillers. So Hitchcoak to me was one of the best directors in history.

I am a guy that are fond of suspense/crime thrillers. So Hitchcoak to me was one of the best directors in history.

Very good list. I recommend you Frenzy (IMO, very underrated. It is not as famous as other Hitchcock's movies but it is one of the best), Suspicion, The Paradine case, Strangers on a train, Both The man who knew too much (I do not remember another director that had made a remake of a movie that he had already done), and Torn courtain.
