Jurassic Park 3D OS Thread

Recommended Posts

Jurassic Park is one of the few movies I would like to see a remake of - with state of the art CGI in 3D of course

With JP it's the animatronics that look great now and the CGI looks dated. The lesson: CGI always looks bad eventually. I wouldn't be against a loose remake, but they might as well just make another sequel - plot was never the draw of the franchise.

I do not mind watching old movies with dated special effects. It is like watching old paintings in an old fashioned style. But todays movies should wow you -asking yourself, how have they done this?

I love this film. It's a perfect combination of family/adventure and animal-thriller movies. CGI in this movie is still one of the best of all time (is very realistic)!

43,000,000 DOM

+ 67,000,000 OS

= 110,000,000 WW

Jurassic Park 3D got the green-light for a release date from China, which will be announced in the coming weeks. It should help the re-release gain higher numbers; the Steven Spielberg dinosaur epic has currently grossed $9.8 million overseas and $54.5 million globally.
