Re: the prospects of #DUNE as a Best Picture nominee, I dug up a stat:

Let’s say for argument’s sake that it misses noms for Director and Editing, but picks up all the other tech noms (7 total).

Since the BP field expanded in 2009, no film has received 7+ noms and missed BP.
