A HAUNTING IN VENICE: Third Poirot turns out to have been the (absolute) best Poirot. Branagh goes Euro-Gothic/Baroque with cinematography (Dutch angles galore, off-kilter compositions, etc.), production design, and performances. Comes close to full-on supernatural horror. A-
