  6. The nun can be a horribly incompetent movie and still be incredibly profitable. You can't have every single movie in a series be incredibly well done. It just doesn't happen. The problem with the none is that there was no story with it. They just ran out of ideas or they didn't have a strong enough writer. But the conjuring universe is strong and will continue to be strong.

  7. OT, but i finally saw Ready Player One yesterday. Completely lost it with both The Shining scene and especially MechaGodzilla. Really liked that film and i can see why China went crazy for it.

  14. Ok time for a score update! @WrathOfHan has actually improved his lead in first thanks to his good showing on the total grosses. @ZeeSoh continued to hold down second and @Infernus also thanks to his good showing on the total grosses (he won it) moved into 3rd. I've also included the additional 20k as mentioned earlier now. here is the update : # # Player Bonus Part G Part F

  19. And then was 2...…... @Infernus and @Simionski. Before PArt C was included Infernus sat in 3rd and Simionski sat in 8th. Remember everyone we still have Part A to reveal yet (the all important top 15) but the real question is on everyone's lips did infernus or Simionski do enough to pass WrathofHan who has led every step of the way to this point. Now we know that both players have scored above 1,122,000. @WrathOfHan's score currently sits at 4,221,001. This means we are certain to have a new leader before the final reveal..... but who will lead the game into the f

  20. 7th spot on the PArt C chart belongs to @MrPink who before this sat in 13th spot. Mr Pink took the dubious honour of being the highest score which only got 11 / 12 of the films correct. he manage to top the exact positions however with 7 exactly correct. of even more note, he managed to get the top 6 all correct and in exact positions (he was the only player to do this). Like many others who only got 11 / 12, it was Christopher Robin which cost them not get 12 / 12. Here is new position thanks to this score..... 7 9 fancyarcher

  29. Fantastic for The Nun, and deserved IMO. Thats really solid for Peppermint too, the B+ cinemascore shows a bit of disconnect on this one with critics. Crazy Rich Asians doesn’t get to $200m with those numbers. But it could’ve stopped playing last weekend and still been a massive hit.

So we are into the top 5...… before I jump in, I just wanted to note a few interesting facts around the Top12 Worldwide predictions. 10 players managed to pick all 12 films (order irrelevant) All but 3 players managed at least 11 films correct. 1 player picked 7 spots exactly That same player managed to nail the top 6 exactly (and he got that bonus too.) including that same player 4 players got the top 5 exactly correct! He also picked all 12 films but was limited in going higher due to only picking 3 spots exactly but his gross score was a little better than Schumacher with 108k. 35. Ok for clarity - I am using the final BOM figures as I've already posted. Sorry @Infernus, @Wrath is right. BOM is the source as I I've been saying. Because if we go down that path it's becomes very very slippery... what the remainder of worldwide totals. for correctness we should include Monday numbers but then Monday outside the US is not a holiday...... unless @chasmmi disagrees (which I highly doubt) … the BOM figures are what we are going use... scores stands as they are.. and i'm continuing the scoring posts!

  36. The Russian dub of the trailer changed "turd in the wind" to "turd hanging in the sewer" but that does honor the amount of sense the original line makes. Also the Russian word for turd (kakashka) sounds so much funnier especially in this context. Packed auditoriums gotta be losing their shit at this.
