  2. 14 months ago [almost to the day]: And just now: AQP Part II - Take Two will almost certainly be past 707 tickets sold locally come Wednesday night (T-8). Slightly apples and oranges for a couple of reasons, as there was a AQP double feature sucking down a lot of tickets, while Thr got hit with the first real wave of 'rona apprehension (this was a day or so after the NBA shut down). But even before the 'rona took ahold of public consciousness, it's not like AQP II was setting the world on fire. Not really much to say here, ex

  3. In Denver, A Quiet Place 2 is lagging quite a bit behind when including the Wednesday double features. Adjusting for the 9 theaters I tracked originally, there are 289 tickets sold as of yesterday. It beats out the 257 sold for Thursday back in March of last year, but it's far behind the 474 sold for Wednesday and Thursday. PWPs probably help a lot with the gap though, all of them were sold before Cruella came online.

  22. Nope. And creatives are hardly the ones I’m talking about. They just got dumped by their parent company for a 60 billion dollar cut in valuation within a couple of years of their acquisition. This is nothing short of humiliating on any level as a company. And to make things worse, the MUCH smaller Discovery is essentially leading a takeover of you. They are calling the shots despite being worth far less. Simply embarrassing.

  31. @CayomMagazine Phoenix Fire Entertainment hopes that you're enjoying our slate for Y8, in what was a big second year for the studio, from smaller titles like Returning from Hell and Floodbath, to massive blockbusters such as Far Cry, The Lost Empire and Mighty Fall. But it is important to discuss the future. For us, the process to move Mighty Fall one year forward - similarly to what we had already done with Dreams - did open up a question regarding our Y9 slate, as removing Alex Hirsch's sci-fi blockbuster from its original Memorial Day Y9 slot meant that we no longer
