  1. I'm surprised too. I think it was like 2016-2017 when I first heard of it and I remember feeling behind the times back then.
  2. The Barbie and Oppenheimer weekend was referred to as Barbenheimer. (I saw NF in concert that weekend. I just had to throw that in because I'm a huge NF fan and always try to spread his name to people who may not know him 😂). I feel like it was a huge missed opportunity to not market this weekend as "Saw Patrol" 🤣 I also think Jason Blum should have had to balls to keep Exorcist opening weekend on October Friday the 13th. And that weekend could have been billed as "The Taylorcist" 🤣
  3. She does like certain horror movies. Like Michael Myers, Chucky... Stuff like that. I know the Exorcist absolutely freaks her out, idk about something like Saw yet haha 🤣 The first Paw Patrol movie was actually her first movie theater movie so I'm actually kind of excited to revisit it, she's been to a few other movies since at a movie theater or drive in theater.
  4. Saw 7, 8, and 9 lowered my interest in the series, but the word of mouth for Saw X may have reinvigorated it. I'm totally interested in it. I'm taking my oldest to watch the new Paw Patrol today but I'll definitely watch Saw X when it comes out to watch at home
  5. 6 was pretty good. I actually think it's the best one after the first 3.
  6. Even if there weren't any strikes, I didn't think this would make a March 2024 release.
  7. I think both Deadpool 3 and Mission Impossible 8 will break out. If Spider-Verse 3 doesn't get delayed that will break out too. I fully expect it to get delayed though
  8. Having 2 young children and always being busy, I don't get the time to go out to the movies as much as I did when I was younger. I definitely plan on seeing the new mission impossible in theaters though
  9. With a 120m opening and good word of mouth, this should cross 400m domestic I think
  10. I wish more people had common sense like this.
  11. I'll wait for streaming for this. Used to love this franchise. Did not like 9 at all. Trailers for this didn't do much for me. Wished they ended it at 7.
  12. I think they can create a Nintendo universe without having to lead up to a Smash Bros movie. There could be a Luigi's Mansion film, DK Country film... There's plenty of games to draw story inspiration from
  13. The 2013 film is quite good I think. It was just not the movie that it was marketed to be. I remember being very disappointed the first time I watched it, but really enjoyed it upon watching it again.
  14. I liked Detective Pikachu, but yeah, Mario is way better
  15. I'm happy to see this movie doing so well. Definitely the most fun I've had with an animated movie in who knows how long. And that's not a shot at other animated movies, I just really loved this a lot
  16. Michael is my favorite horror icon, but I don't think there's been a bad Scream movie yet. Scream 3 is my least favorite of them all but even that's better than some of the Halloween movies, as much as I love Michael.
  17. Even No Way Home struggled on Christmas Eve last year and that movie had good legs other than than a good sized drop on that day
  18. I planned on watching this in a theater. I missed the opportunity watching the first in a theater, and this one looks very good. All summer long, one of my best friends and I were working on building a home theater in my basement. We went all out with the sound, the seating, snacks and etc.. The screen is 100" but can even go up to 175". We finished the home theater enough to watch movies and play games on it about a month ago. I still have posters and decorations to hang up, but it's essentially done. It's just small stuff from here. We watched Halloween Ends for the first movie on that movies opening weekend. We just played video games on it this past Sunday. He was also here this past Saturday for my oldest daughters birthday party. On Thursday, he passed away in a complete freak accident. I'm just heartbroken. Considering the themes of this movie and what's going on in my personal life, I just wouldn't feel comfortable watching it in a theater. I would be a wreck. I'd much rather be a wreck in the home theater we built together instead of being a wreck in public 💔
  19. Man, this is the most disappointing movie I've seen in YEARS. It's been a week, and I'm still incredibly disappointed. I absolutely loved H18. I absolutely loved Kills. This was just from so far left field, that it feels like it wasn't even made by the same people, even though it was. It feels like there was very little connective tissue with what came before it. It focuses on a completely brand new character instead of either Michael or Laurie. I liked the opening/opening credits, but I feel like they should have just added the last 20 minutes onto the end of the extended cut of Kills. I would actually pay someone to do that.
  20. I like H20 but I wouldn't call it the best Halloween sequel. The mask was pretty awful in that movie. But I do have that movie in the upper half of my rankings.
