So, WBs options Drop on HBO MAX. They would pretty much lose what they spent making the movie, so $200-$250M Reshoot Ezra's scenes. So, probably another $100M Digitally alter Ezra. Maybe less than reshooting, but still expensive. Do nothing. No upfront cost, but if Ezra is in the news when this hits can cause serious backlash and revenue loss for WB. So, no matter what, WB is in a losing position.

You know, I am actually starting to turn around on this. I felt initially interest wasn't there for this, but now I am feeling a $150-$180M OW. Not sure what legs look like, but with Christmas, you never know.

So next week is Lightyear. That makes me think this will probably have a steepish drop. Honestly, I think this opens similar to FK and finishes almost identically, at least DOM. I actually liked this one, but I guess bringing back the old cast isn't really a selling point. It was pretty much always about the dinos. Anyway, Jurassic movies for the most part have been a mixed bag, but it is not the worse by any stretch.

I liked the third episode for the duel, but this episode just wasn't good. It was on par with the first couple of Boba Fett episodes, probably worse. If this didn't have McGregor, I would consider this almost ST levels bad. Hopefully, the next two pick up. Also, there's rumors this is going to get a second season. I guess with the viewing numbers that seems likely, so I hope this really finds it footing because Obi-Wan is a really interesting character, but this story just isn't that good.

Every day, some crazy thing comes up about Ezra. There is a lot of chatter about the whole grooming thing. There wasn't much talk about the other allegations, but grooming a child is not in a position WB wants to be in.

I saw this in Dolby st 7:30 in a relatively busy theater, and it wasn't even half full. TGM was at 100% capacity when I saw it opening Thursday night. Yah, this doesn't bode well

reshoots happen all the time. if the role isn't too big like a weeks worth of shooting, recasting shouldn't be much of an issue and shouldn't cause the budget to go up much either.

I remember a time when trailers and ads never mentioned RT score and that was when RT was popular. Then, one day, it clicked with studios and now they go full RT score in ads when the RT score is good.

I am guy that was in an abusive relationship with a woman. Ironically, she once threw dog poop at me. It does happen. I do think Heard is a narcissist, and yes Depp has his part to play as well, but I'm glad society is taking a look at this issue of women abusing men -

Yup. The studios pay to have the movie made. I guess the other option become rich enough to self fund your own movies. I think a lot of people forget Lucas funded the prequels 100% out of his pocket. I know SW is mainstream though, but point is Lucas did what he wanted with the prequels.
