Production Weeklys history on this is...not consistent this far out, but they're claiming the X-Men reboot is scheduled to shoot in late 2025. Also Armor Wars in 2025, Shang-Chi 2 in March 2025, and Vision Quest filming this year. IF this is accurate (and with PWs history with stuff this far out, that's a not small if) that'd indicate what a lot of people have guessed which is that the Avengers movies get bumped a year each.

My guess is even with the votes secure they're still going to want to lay the sugar on shareholders. Based on previous years, we'll probably get some park news (probably a date for Bob Igers final victory over Song of the South, the new Tiana ride), some exclusive footage of Deadpool 3 and or Planet of the Apes, talking up recent Disney+ successes with Taylor Swift and the Hulu integration, the Oscars. Even if theyve won the vote they still want shareholders to come out feeling good (especially since a lot of the shareholders probably may not know Disneys already won it).

Even with the stumbles in 2023 Feige is still the highest grossing producer around. And let's be real, we all know a good amount of this is Perlmutter wanting payback, and he wanted Feige gone in 2015. That Peltz complained about Black Panther, a franchise with major critical, awards, and financial success, shows he doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. The last time he talked about making a franchise more white it was casting his daughter as the female lead in The Last Airbender.

Yep, that feels like the nail. At least till next year. I do think it does mean we get concrete movement on Igers succession in the next year, since that's obviously his biggest weakness: his last successor didnt work out, and now they need to start over with a new one.

This releasing on SDCC weekend could bring insane momentum for Marvels other releases if it lands well. Especially since they'll be coming off of the goodwill from X-Men 97 as well
