  1. The Shay has just found the perfect algorithm for finding how good a Nolan movie is gonna be - ahead of time!! And it is very simple: If the movie is made LAST decade - it's great! (from Memento (2000) to Inception (2010)) If the movie is made THIS decade - it sucks (more or less, Dunkerk was OK). So if the movie is made NEXT decade, it should be good again, right? Right. The big question is, if Tenet (2020) is THIS decade - or NEXT decade??!! HMMMMM....
  2. It actually looks like the best Pixar movie in ages. Finally! I was really starting to hate these overhyped imposters.
  3. Shay's 1st thought: OMG, how many teen lesbians are out there??!! Shay's 2nd thought: Hehe, Pixar is toast...
  4. Last Bond movie didn't bomb - unlike last Godzilla. I like the idea of Godzilla being postponed - hopefully indefinitely. But Bond should be here on time - like he always does.
  5. Yeah, I just feel sorry for him. I wonder who does though - who decides which movies to skip. It got really bad in recent years. I get deprived of HALF of the good movies (speaking only of the American ones) I would watch, if they were in cinemas. That's why I had an 18 months vacation in Dublin some years ago. I had 10 new movies every week there in the biggest multiplex.
  6. Saw it, and, well yeah, it was boring. But beautiful. But boring. No way this has great legs, let alone the legs of the first one. The Shay should have gone with his Frozen2 UNDER Frozen club... Will still see it two or three times - but only because of the scenery and the gags. Some of the songs are good - but even they are butchered for me, because of the idiots that dub every single animation in Bulgaria (and you can't get a subbed version).
  7. I don't know, all I care about are the visuals and some nice music. That's why I saw the first one a couple of times, didn't care about anything else. I'm not a teen lesbian, so for me Let It Go was just a nice song. So, the first one being borderline boring or at least pretty average as a story - I don't see how the second could be much worse. Will see it tonight - too much work. I always go to the late night IMAX showings, but this time they deemed this too childish, so the last showing is at 20:15 (08:15 P.M.) - and I still work at this time in the weekend.
  8. Exactly. The Power of Animation! The only thing that can dream of coming close to The Power of the Jim!! (But still not quite.)
  9. Great movie, I would give it an A. I gave it a C because of all the stupid throwbacks to The Shining, an atrocious ancient flick, buried by time (FORTY YEARS FOR FUCKS SAKE).
  10. Fucking hate Kubrick and his ugly "cult" movies so much that I couldn't even make myself see a free torrent of The Shining; stopped it after 5 minutes. His only good movie is the NASA financed "Landings on the Moon", at least it got something interesting going about it. Too bad Dr. Sleep (a very nice movie) had to associate itself with such utter garbage like The Shining. So it is paying the price now.
  11. LOL, who the fuck cares how the blue rat looks. Only good thing in this is the grand return of Jim The God Carrey. Movie still gonna bomb like a bitch though. Much worse than the other, yellow rat. All the "fans goodwill" won't help a thing. They should really stop trying to put videogames into movies. They don't belong. Movies are art. Games are for bottom level types with nothing better within their reach.
  12. Well... You infidels have three more years, before Avatar returns... Then you will all kneel before the Lord Cameron.
  13. Why is everyone avoiding the NUMBER ONE SUCCESS STORY OF THE MONTH!! Hypocritical much?
  14. Critics are usually useless - everyone knows that by now. Half of them will hate on the movie with the only reason that Elsa is NOT a full blown lesbian. Disgusting tools. The lesser the RT% this movie gets - the better it will turn out to be. RT 50% is practically a masterpiece.
  15. Neither of these is even remotely true. You should really stop caring what other people say about movies, dude. You're becoming obsessed with spoiler sites: first Episode 9, now this. What people write as "advance reviews" on the net can often be just as false and shit as RT reviews. First, many people are just stupid - or have a hidden agenda. "Professional" critics obviously have an agenda - they will write anything they can get paid for. But "fan reviews" can be just as bad: malicious, close-minded, trolling, racist, and most of all - delusional, substituting what they want for what is real. You have the money to go to the Easter Islands - what's a movie ticket to you? Just go and see all big movies, make your own mind. Very few movies are so bad that I've regretted watching them ONCE!
  16. Terminator 6/10 Judgement Day 10/10 Rise Of The Machines 1/10 Salvation 9/10 (great new setting!) Genisys 1/10 Dark Fate 9/10 (great sequel and trilogy topper for the first two)
  17. The Shay doesn't watch TV - never have, never will. There will be cinemas while I'm alive - and I will be in them, best seats, each Friday. It's cinema, or nothing.
  18. Perfect! Now let's see all concern-trolls get wiped out by the stunningly unexpected (but not for the Shay) results of this crowd-pleaser!
  19. Wow, so this is obviously 20 times better than the terrible cheap first part. Which is no big deal, since that one was a TV level movie that somehow broke out because of all the TV watching plebs who wouldn't show taste if their lives depended on it. Still, Star Wars will annihilate it with ease. This could have beaten the terrible TLJ - but not JJ.
  20. Movies are OK. It's the real wars that America keeps starting all over the world that are the problem. Good thing you finally have a real president who reined in the war-mongers a bit.
  21. Watch the movie first, loser. 7.8 is far too little for one of the best movies of recent years.
