A- cinemascore and 80% RT are not mediocre ratings. Stronger Saturday and sunday performances are pointing to good WOM.

Even if you add star wars gross, Uni will win the year. They have lot of movies with potential lined up in fall.They will end up the year at 2.5 B most probably.

Rogue nation was a perfect Summer movie... It is on par with F7 and JW in terms of fun quatient for me...good to see it doing well.

True..but for JW and Titanic, even the most optimistic predictions were in the 300M range unlike Avatar.

Runs of all the Big Movies except Avatar were surprising at their times. Jaws, Star Wars, ET, Titanic, JW etc... For Avatar, many people including me were expecting it to break the Titanic Record.

JW could have done it if there were not too many releases and screen loss. It was holding much better than AOU and ended up very close. JW was still collecting good money in the last days unlike AOU.

China and India are very similar (except for animations)
