Saw Coco, definitely top 5 Pixar film for me or maybe top 3, I'm not sure yet. But top 5 for sure. It's up there with Up, Finding Nemo, Monster's Inc, Toy Story 3 for me.
Btw I finally saw Pixar's TGD this past weekend. I actually liked it. Easy 7/10 for me. Not sure why it didn't do so well (I wasn't following it then). Was the marketing non-existent?
Only personal criticism I could maybe think of is that it felt a little "dark" for a Pixar film.
My theater Ontario Mills 30 was sold out or almost sold out for the 7pm Coco:

^ I use Fandango.com and select a reserve seating theater to see how many empty seats there are.
I checked 20 mins before showtime and Coco 7pm only had 6 seats open. By 10 mins in only 2 seats were left.
I find it unusual this account you quoted was form a 3rd party.
The "source" is talking about allegedly seeing Lasseter do these things, but nothing from the person herself?
My theater AMC Ont Mills was #15 on the list. I didn't go but I did drive by there Friday around 6 pm and noted the parking lot didn't look that busy at the time : p

THR today has it at $94m..... not actuals but lower than WB's yesterday estimates.
Going by last year's BVS thread:
WB didn't post the actuals until around 9 mins ago almost this exact time actually.
So numbers *should* come in any minute now, before the hour....
